As we ramp up for our 16th year of raising money for the Michael J Fox Foundation, we want to recognize Team Fox. 2026 is the 20th anniversary for Team Fox.
When Richard Thompson was diagnosed with P.D. in 2009 I wanted to do something to make a difference. with Richards blessing, I feel we have been doing that. Why did we pick the Michael J Fox Foundation and become part of Team Fox? Because of this statement from them.
“We aspire to go out of business“
We deliberately hold no endowment or excessive financial reserves. We act with urgency, typically deploying funds raised within a few months for the fastest possible impact.
The foundation wants a cure and so do I. I want this site to be a historical document in how a group of friends of Richards made a differance, raised money for Parkinsons research, supported others with Parkinsons and then we find a cure. A historical document on how friends and the cartooning community came together to defeat P.D.
We didn’t stop when Richard passed in 2016. This year we will be celebrating Richard and the Anniversary of Team Fox.
Team Cul de Sac is one of the oldest teams. Celebrate with us on June 12th.
